I
regret to announce today that Hilberling GmbH has cancelled the production
of the PT-8000 series of transceivers.I am
really sorry that this will cause disappointment on your side. Let me
explain
briefly
what had led to this decision:
Hilberling had to
counteract continuously obstacles to meet EU wide requirements. This
has forced us multiple times to change the design of this high-end
transceiver which often has been in conflict to our design goals. We
finally could meet all our design numbers within a few prototypes but we
and the numerous suppliers were not able to guarantee these numbers for
the line production. Measures that would have to be taken to guarantee the
specifications are in no way cost effective. All this has led to the a.m.
decision to put everything on hold.
Hilberling apologises for any inconvenience you had. We deeply appreciated
the confidenceyou demonstrated for
the PT-8000 series of HF/VHF-Transceivers.

PowerMaster and Release of the
PowerMaster PRO Software
Many of you asked for a quality meter like our PowerMaster
that was less expensive and had analog accurate peak/average reading meter
and instead of designing it we have it! Dishtronix
DWM-2104A HF-6M. This meter looks great too!
""The
Array Solutions PowerMaster is an accurate, expandable RF power
meter that blurs the line between station accessory and precision
test equipment."

Review
The Array Solutions
PowerMaster system isn’t simply a
wattmeter; it’s an integrated station system. In my opinion,
it reaches professional levels rather than being just an
amateur accessory."

Optibeam - German Engineered Antennas
From compact wire beams for
5 bands and small lots to Mega Yagis that have huge gain on long booms
"You see, wire
telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in
New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand
this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals
here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is
no cat. "

Large Stacked Antenna Array for Army 3rd Special Forces at Ft. Bragg
The antenna system features stacked phased large log periodic
antennas which are controlled by the Array Solutions StackMatch, four long wires and
three NVIS antennas also controlled by a custom control system using two
StackMatches and a SixPak RF Matrix. Tower is 120 feet tall with two star guy
brackets. All LPDA Antennas rotate individually.
I never thought I'd place first in Sweepstakes, but the WX0B
StackMatches have certainly made my single tower, stacked tri-band quads
play to their highest potential. Being ale to instantly choose a 75' or
40' antenna height as well as phase them both together, gives me plenty of
options for matching my system to contest propagation. The StackMatch can
also grow with me if I ever move to a "real" antenna farm because the
StackMatch easily handles phasing for 3 antenna arrays. I can't wait!"
